How Fluxa updates work, where official releases live, and what to do after a bad update.
Official downloads
Use the official GitHub releases linked from the Fluxa site. Avoid re-uploaded installers from third-party mirrors unless you know and trust the distributor.
Per-platform updates
| Platform | Update method |
|---|---|
| Windows | Download and run the latest installer, or use in-app update if available. |
| macOS | Replace the app from the latest DMG, then approve Gatekeeper if prompted. |
| Linux | Install the new DEB/RPM/AppImage package for your distro. |
| Android | Install the latest APK from the official release page. |
| Web | Reload the page. It always serves the latest build. |
| webOS | Sideload the latest .ipk from the official release page via Developer Mode. |
Verify your version
Check the app version in Settings. If you report a bug, include the version number, platform, install package type, and whether the issue started after an update.
After a bad update
- Restart the app and your device.
- Install the latest patch release if one exists.
- Temporarily disable recently added addons.
- Back up data before trying a downgrade.
- Open a GitHub issue with logs and your platform details.
